JUSTINE BRASHEAR'S obsession as a little girl with making up stories led her to study Creative Writing during her college years in downtown Denver. As a mother, daughter, sister, friend, and breast cancer survivor, she is passionate about inspiring women to live life unabashedly self-expressed. She currently lives in Southern California and recently moved to the beach where she is plotting out her next book and manifesting life as a best-selling author.

Being able to freely express myself and push my boundaries of creativity.

6. If you could give any advice to a new writer/author, what would it be?

Don’t use so many exclamation marks! 😅 And get your WIP in front of beta readers to get their brutal feedback. Then take what works for you and discard the rest. My rule of thumb is that if you see a pattern forming where a handful give the same feedback, that’s something to address. But if it’s a one-off that doesn’t sit right with you, let it go. And don’t take any of it personally. Know that they are there to help you get to the best version of your book so you don’t put out mediocre work.
